Art Glass
Art Glass - An artist expression in glass and light. Art Glass can be utilitarian, ornamental or both. Each piece of Art Glass is unique.
The earliest evidence of glassblowing are glass objects that were found dating from 37BC. For thousands of years designers and artists have experimented, manipulating color and blown glass, so when the glass and sunlight interact with each other it creates visually stunning Art Glass. Currently there are many ways an artist who wants to work with glass can express themselves. The term Art Glass describes glass making techniques such as blown glass, copper foil stained glass, kiln formed glass (fused glass), etched glass and lampworking.
